Graduation

Wow, it really has been quite some time since I have posted. I once again have had to deal with some health issues and am being sent to yet another specialist, but cannot get in until July unless there are some cancellations. When I have good days I have been working on getting my house ready for graduation. I will share with you later this week how I used the Stampin' Up! stencils.

Being that we home school I had the opportunity to create my son's graduation announcement/ open house invitation. He actually designed it himself. I just got to do the handi-work. The KR is his initials. We used the texture plates in the Big Shot for the woven look behind the letters. The '09 was printed with the computer. The inside has the information printed on Whisper White cardstock. I used the ticket corner punch on the inside white. The graduation cap was punched with the 1-3/8" square punch. I cut the ribbon and then pulled a string on one end (only one end will allow it to fray). I attached the two colors with a glue dot, folded it over and put a brad through the ribbon and cap. The cap is attached with 2 glue dots.

Here is the picture we included with the invite. He graduates in a couple of weeks with another senior in our Home school group. God has truely blessed me with wonderful children. He will be going to Bible college in the fall.
