Buzzin' By

This card took me forever to get to work the way I wanted it to. I knew the colors I wanted but could not get them to go together right. IF it had gone together faster I would of added a few extra things. I would of done some sponging and piercing. I have some of the Big Shot Texture plates coming in from an exchange and I think one of them would of worked great, especially on the small Tangerine layer. For now it works for the time I had and the materials I had to work with. I may have to re-play this one later on through just to see. :)

Christmas Card

Here the month of January is almost done. I just now realized that I never showed you the Christmas card I made for last year. I took the idea from the catalog. I really wanted to use a color scheme that was not traditional colors. Let's see if I can remember...I cut the cards stock 12" x 5.5". I scored every 4". I wheeled the background before I scored. In order to make the ribbon I found a loose thread and pulled until gathered. My finger still hurts from my thumb nail digging in ;). The images are layered differently. Over all it was a very simple card to do. My Stamp-a-ma-jig was very handy in the making of this card. Before I did any rolling, scoring or stamping. I ran the cut card stock through the printer with the color set to match the SU Chocolate Chip and printed the signature part.

Garden Dinos

Today I got to stamp! I hope you all got to spend wonderful times with your friends and family!

I went back and grabbed a sketch that I did not have a chance to do. When I decided in my mind what I wanted I did not think about how hard it would be to cut around the dinos. There is really nothing complicated about this card, but if I did happen to over look something you do not understand feel free to leave a question in the comments or send me an e-mail.
